If
a picture is worth a thousand words then the walls of
the Colonel Charles Waterhouse Historical Museum speak
volumes. Waterhouse---a lifelong New Jersey resident---combines
his experiences as a World War II Marine, historian,
combat artist, painter, illustrator, author, and sculptor
to create beautifully rendered works of art which span
our history from Revolutionary times to the present.
Our
mission at the Waterhouse Museum is to display, preserve,
and perpetuate New Jersey artist Colonel Charles Waterhouse’s
lifetime body of historical and military artwork for
the purpose of providing the American public with a
unique visual experience and an enhanced appreciation
of our local and national heritage.
